We take this opportunity to introduce that Anjuman Himayat-i-Islam the oldest N.G.O in Pakistan was established in 1884. We are proud to say that Anjuman played a vital role in the movement for Pakistan. It has the honor of being led by Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal as President. Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah also used to come and address the gatherings of Anjuman. Since its inception, Anjuman has taken the responsibility of providing free / affordable education to the Muslims without any discrimination. Now-a-days it has been running Eight educational institutions which include Primary Schools, Higher Secondary school, Girls College having education up to post graduation, Law College, Tibbia College, Polytechnic Institute, Dar-ul-Aloom Dinia, Male and Female (in separate buildings). Besides the above, Anjuman has also been running the institutions in the name of Dar-ul-Shafqat, Male and Female (in separate buildings) where more than 400 Orphan, destitute and heirless children are provided education, boarding, lodging and all facilities & special look-after whereas One Dar-ul-Aman, where disturbed, unprotected and heirless ladies are provided fearless shelters. Anjuman is a State of Art Institution, shouldering the major responsibilities of the Government without any aid by the Government. All the institutions of the Anjuman are supervised by Professionals voluntary through Committees constituted by the General Council. The General Council of the Anjuman consists of One hundred honorary members from all over the country Most of members are Retired Judges of Supreme Court and High Courts of Pakistan, Senior Lawyers, Industrialists, Businessmen and High ranked Officers, who all are performing their duties amateur in the name of and for the sake of Allah Almighty.
We understand that Donors and Corporate bodies adheres to a philosophy that emphasizes contributing to the creation of a genuinely prosperous society as a good corporate citizen and it continues to help create a sustainable society by conducting corporate activities that are based on a constant awareness of its obligation as a responsible citizen. We believe that the mission undertaken by the Anjuman is in the same sense of responsibility as any responsible corporate entity would like to perform, hence we, with profound pleasure invite you to be a part of our team.
Moreover we have certain plans in the pipeline for execution on the properties at prime location in the city of Lahore. You may feel liberty to visit or nominate any of your representatives to visit and contribute in any way you deem feasible and appropriate.
